Sitmaps index page. (English and Dutch)
categories index: I started my website not so long ago. (Nov 2019) At least, started again (original was 2007) But the problem was that this was the first time via WordPress. So I still had to learn to use all that. In the old site I wrote the html pages myself, now this is done via the PHP engine of wordpress.
That is fun and easy with all those bells and whistles. But you also have less control yourself. The main problem with wordpress is the distinction between posts and pages. And the way in which they can be categorized automatically or otherwise.
My website is not about 1 topic. But general information about everything and something else. And so I have the main topics in my menu. But to divide everything below becomes too much. (more than 150 articles) That is why I also work with index pages per subject, to refer to certain posts from there.
So now I have made a categories index page on which all those index pages (and solo page articles) are nicely mapped so that it is a little easier to find your way around Infonosity. (Of course you can also enter a keyword in the search box in the header of the page) This sitemap is in the menu under HOME.

Ik ben mijn website nog niet zolang geleden begonnen. (nov 2019) Althans, herbegonnen (origineel was 2007) Maar het probleem was dat dit voor het eerst via wordpress. Dus ik moest dat allemaal nog leren gebruiken. In de oude site schreef ik zelf de html paginas, nu gebeurd dat via de PHP engine van wordpress.
Dat is wel leuk en gemakkelijk met al die toeters en bellen. Maar je hebt ook zelf minder controle. Het hoofdprobleem met wordpress is het onderscheid tussen posts en paginas. En de manier waarop die al dan niet automatisch in categorieen in te delen zijn.
Mijn website gaat niet over 1 onderwerp. Maar algemeene info over van alles en nog iets anders. En ik heb in mijn menu dus de main topics. Maar om alles hieronder te verdelen wordt teveel. (meer dan 150 artikels) Daarom werk ik ook met index-paginas per onderwerp, om van daaruit te verwijzen naar bepaalde posts.
Nu heb ik dus een categories index page gemaakt waarop al die index pagina’s (en solo page artikels) mooi in kaart zijn gebracht zodat het iets gemakkelijker is om je weg te vinden op infonosity. (Natuurlijk kan je ook een keywoord in de zoekvak in de header van de page) Deze sitemap staat in het menu onde HOME.
